- Revealing the Unobvious Social Norms and Traditional Development Fantasies that Impede Agile Adoption, 2017. If agile training and coaching have not yet worked, consider investigating what might be keeping the organization stuck. Instead of trying to “change” the hearts and minds of folks, it may be wise to spend some time “exploring” what resides in their hearts and minds and how it got there. Agile sounds like a great solution to many ills and many times is, but a study of what keeps the organization from becoming agile is recommended as the best first step.
